The End of Posse Comitatus (Part 1)… Obama’s Civilian Corps
In August of 2009, President Barack Obama said, “We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, and just as well funded.”
Why would we need a civilian army that is just as powerful, just as strong, and just as well funded as the regular military for? Why would we not be able to rely on our already existing, very well-funded military to handle whatever problems it is that the President needs this civilian corps for? What can this civilian military counterpart do that our regular military can’t?
I’m sure our military is capable of doing whatever Obama needs this civilian corps to do, yet why is the President even choosing to spend our tax dollars on to establish and build up this civilian corpse? Our military, after all, is one of the most technologically advanced and most well funded Armed Forces in the whole world. So well funded that in the year 2012, the United States will spend more money on defence than every other country in the world, combined.
Since the Presidents Civilian Corpse will be just as well funded, powerful, and as strong as the regular military; some questions come to mind: Does this mean that they will have access to all the military technology, weapons, spy satellites, defence intelligence, tanks, military hardware, fire-power, and everything else that our military has access too? Will Obama’s Civilian Corps have military special forces teams as well? Based on what Obama said in August 2009, it seems any one of these or all of these questions could end up being a possibility. Still, the two main underlying questions remain; Why is there even a need for a civilian military counterpart in the first place? And who is the enemy that they are fighting that is so tough that they need to be just as well funded as the actual military?
After compiling a bunch of independent research on this topic, the only explanation and answers I could come up with is that the enemy the civilian corpse would be trained and ready to fight against would be the American People. It also seems that the main purpose that the President would want to create this Civilian Military Counterpart in the first place, is that its a way for him and anyone in charge to avoid being stopped by the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878.
Bernard Von NotHaus, The American Liberty Dollar, & Being Labeled a Domestic Terrorist
Bernard Von NotHaus & The American Liberty Dollar
Bernard Von NotHaus was the founder of the American Liberty Dollar. The Liberty Dollar was a private alternative currency, produced in the United States, backed by gold, silver, platinum, and copper. The currency was made up of gold, silver, and copper coins; gold, silver, and platinum certificates- which were warehouse receipts for real precious metals owned by the people that have Liberty dollars in their possession.
The majority of the precious metals were warehoused at the Sunshine Mint building in Coer d’Alene, Idaho, up until November 2007. http://coin-shop.com/norfed.html
In November 2007, the FBI and the Secret Service raided the Sunshine Mint building and confiscated all the precious metals as evidence.
In May 2009, Bernard Von NotHaus and others closely involved, were charged with Federal Crimes. http://charlotte.fbi.gov/dojpressrel/pressrel11/ce031811.htm and on March 18th 2011 Bernard Von NotHaus was found guilty of two felony counts: 1) counterfeiting and 2) making, possessing, and selling his own coins. He faces up to 15 years in prison, a $250,000.00 fine, and will be forced to give $7,000,000.00 in precious metals and minted coins to the Federal Government. Bernard Von NotHaus was also labeled a domestic terrorist by the FBI during the 2011 investigation.
The purpose of the American Liberty Dollar was to create an alternative currency, backed by something real, that people could use as a medium of exchange instead of the U.S. Dollar. Liberty Dollar associates and merchants used to exchange Liberty Dollars at a discount, that way they could “Make money when they spend money.” Bernard Von NotHaus, was not trying to economically collapse the U.S. Dollar with the Liberty Dollar. He was just trying to create a medium of exchange that was a lot safer to have and be holding on to instead of Federal Reserve Notes (U.S. Dollars). Federal Reserve Notes are subject to inflation and are constantly being devalued by being over-printed and over-digitized and then put into circulation. Perhaps one of the biggest problems with the U.S. Dollar is the fact that Federal Reserve Notes are backed by nothing except faith in the U.S. Government and our own perceptions of what has value.
The Liberty Dollar definitely has walked a fine line between legal and illegal. One Secret Service agent is quoted with saying “It’s not counterfeit money.” And after all, how could it be? All the images and colors on all the denominations of the Liberty Dollar currency are completely different than the images and colors of what is on the front and backs of all the denominations of the U.S. Dollar. Also, after reviewing the currency, the U.S Treasury Department’s legal team said that there was nothing illegal about it; as long as it does not say the words “Legal Tender” on it. Yet, still, the Federal Government figured out a way to arrest, charge, and convict Bernard Von NotHaus and his close associates for being involved in the operation with him and manage to put an end to the American Liberty Dollar.
Another interesting thing is that this White House Administration and Department of Justice (under control of Eric Houlder) will go way out of their way to claim that Bernard Von NotHaus is a domestic terrorist, but not come to the same conclusion about the Fort Hood shooter. Why is it this administration will go out of their way to try to prove that someone who has not hurt anyone but has right-wing minded ideology is a domestict terror threat? But urge the public not to jump to any conclusions or label someone a domestic terrorist if they have left-wing ideology- even after they go on a killing spree and shoot 13 people in a domestically terrorizing act Major Nidal Malik Hasan, The Fort Hood Shooter.
In Wisconsin, Scott Walker Passed The Budget Repair Bill- How Did He Do It?
Wednesday night, The Wisconsin Senate Republicans pulled off what most people thought to be completely impossible; they passed Governor Scott Walker’s budget repair bill. The complete bill, the whole bill, without having to separate out controversial parts that limited the ability for State government employees to collectively bargain.
One of the things that set it off for the GOP was a letter that the Democrat Senate Minority Leader Mark Miller sent Governor Walker, indicating Miller’s unwillingness negotiate any of the details of the budget-repair bill. This letter was what prompted the GOP to make the decision to take the bill to the floor.
The Wisconsin Republican State-Senators felt like Miller and the Wisconsin Democratic State-Senators were trying to dictate to them what their options were. The Republicans won the State elections fair and square – and here was the 14 person minority trying to dictate to them whats going to happen and tell them how things are going to get done. Miller sent another letter urging for more negotiations, regardless of the fact that Governor Walker had been negotiating with two Democrat State-Senators for almost a week now.. This was when Walker came to the conclusion that all Miller really wanted to do was stall. This, plus the fact that Democrat State-Senator Lena Taylor making a very public decision to have an absentee spring election ballot, scheduled for April 5th, sent to her in Chicago, Illinois.
According to the Wisconsin Constitution, A quorum of three-fifths of the Senate in order to pass a bill that “imposes, continues or renews a tax, or creates a debt or charge, or makes, continues or renews an appropriation of public or trust money, or releases, discharges or commutes a claim or demand of the state.”
The GOP senators consulted the Legislative Fiscal Bureau on this issue, and were told, “while there were some ‘fiscal’ provisions of the bill, these provisions didn’t technically make an ‘appropriation’, and therefore were not subject to the three-fifth quorum requirement.” This allowed for Governor Walker and the Wisconsin GOP State-Senators to leave the Budget-repair bill virtually untouched for when they voted on it.
What’s funny is the move seems to have caught the Democrat Minority Leader completely off guard. Senators Miller and Fitzgerald both have access to the same legislative attorneys and were likely given the same options for a resolution.
An Alternative For Wisconsin- They Could Have A State Constitutional Convention.
According to the Wisconsin State Constitution the Assembly and State-Senate only are required to have a quorum to vote on financial bills. On all other bills they only need a majority, which is how they’re getting away with all the bills they’re passing right now.
One possible solution to Wisconsin’s problem of not being able to vote on anything financial related with the 14 Democrats hiding out in Wisconsin is that they could have a State Constitutional Convention. The State Legislature just needs a majority, which they have right now, to pass a vote on having a State Constitutional Convention. Then, at their next session, they have the Constitutional Convention and revise the part of their State Constitution so that they only need 15 people to have a quorum instead of 20.
If they need to wait for the next election to have a State Constitutional Convention, then what they should do is have a recall election of one elected official and that would bring about a new election as soon as possible.
Whether or not the Wisconsin State Legislature actually goes through with having a State Constitutional Convention, the mere threat and possibility of a vote to succeed on having having one should be enough to scare the 14 Democrats into coming back and voting on the Wisconsin Budget Repair Bill. At least the Democrats would get representation if they come back and all 14 of them vote no on the bill, even if it still passes in the State Senate because all 19 Republicans vote yes on it. If there were to be a Wisconsin State Constitutional Convention, the 14 Democrat State Senators might not get any representation if the elected officials present at the convention were to change the State Constitution without the 14 Democrat Senators being represented.
Here is Article 12 Section 2 of the Wisconsin State Constitution:
Article XII, §2
Constitutional conventions. Section 2. If at any time a majority of the senate and assembly shall deem it necessary to call a convention to revise or change this constitution, they shall recommend to the electors to vote for or against a convention at the next election for members of the legislature. And if it shall appear that a majority of the electors voting thereon have voted for a convention, the legislature shall, at its next session, provide for calling such convention.
Wisconsin Protesters Gone Wild!!!
The link below is a video of some Wisconsin protesters hunting down one of their fellow GOP state senators.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wu839yIS83w
Have these people seriously lost it? Why is it protesters on the right like the Tea-Party get ridiculed and practically called serial killers for not being violent? Yet, protesters on the left can pretty much hunt people down, use all the violent language they want, and have all the hateful violent signs as possible and most of the media doesn’t say anything?
Here’s some more incidents, from around the country, that haven’t seem to gotten to much coverage from the mainstream media surrounding the whole Wisconsin protests:
* A tea party activist in Sacramento, California was hospitalized after being assaulted by a Teamsters Union shop steward. Police cited the union member.
* Conservative activist Dr. William Greene was assaulted by a union activist at a rally in Atlanta, Georgia, as the union member violently shoved Dr. Greene into a metal fence.
* Another tea party activist was assaulted by a union activist at a rally in Lansing, Michigan this week.
* A Communications Workers of America member (shown below) similarly got aggressive striking out against a female tea party activist who was filming him using her cell phone camera outside of the offices of the conservative advocacy group FreedomWorks in Washington, D.C.
* Fox News Channel’s Mike Tobin was struck twice by a union member who first threatened to break Tobin’s neck as he filed a live report on the union-organized protests in Wisconsin.
* And remember, this all started with Democrat Congressman Michael Capuano putting the call out to union mobs to “get a little bloody” against tea party activists.
“All Persons” Warrant- A Blatant 4th Amendment Rights Violation.
In Sarasota, Florida, police were having trouble with the high amount of drug-dealers at The Mediterranean Apartment Complex. Police launched stake-outs and various other ways to try to catch these drug dealers in the act; but from the way the apartment parking lot was set up- it made it easy for the dealers to make getaways and avoid getting arrested.
So Sarasota police decided to try something that they thought was a new tactic. the asked for and received from a Florida judge- what was called an “All Persons’” warrant. This gave them the power to go in and raid all the apartments in The Mediterranean Apartment complex. The SWAT team and several police officers conducted police searches of many innocent peoples’ apartments in front of their families, at gunpoint.
In the end, a whole four people were arrested and not charged with any crimes. Regardless, because of the “All Persons” warrant concept- it wouldn’t even matter because as long as these four people plead not-guilty and opt to take their case to a jury trial- these four people would be released because the “All Persons” warrant would be inadmissible in court.
An “All Persons’” warrant is highly unconstitutional. When you compare the concept of an “All Persons’” warrant side by side with The 4th Amendment- one can clearly see why. Here is the text of The 4th Amendment:
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
The Sarasota Police Department also thought that an “All Persons’” warrant was a new idea that they could get away with in this situation. In reality though, it is this idea of an “All Persons’” warrant and blatant abuse of power when implementing is just over 200 years old. This was a tactic used by The British on us Americans before The Revolution and is the reason we have The 4th Amendment put into our Constitution permanently.

Why The Feds Need to Back Off The States (Part 2)
2009 was an important year for The United States Of America. 2009 was the first year in U.S. history that the State and City governments got more of their funds from the Federal government than they did from local sources. Is this what The Founding Fathers of this country wanted when they designed The American system of Federalism? All the evidence and research that I could find points to no.
The first document that disputes the way that Federalism is being implemented today is The U.S. Constitution. In Article 1 Section 8 we have all the Delegated Powers listed that are specifically granted to the National Government. Powers such as the power to: Collect taxes; regulate interstate commerce; declare war; coin money; and more. All of these 18 powers are listed in Article 1 Section 8 of The Constitution. The Implied powers are the only ones not listed in The Constitution. The Implied Powers were stated in a key Supreme Court Case: McCulloch v. Maryland. In which the Implied Powers for the Federal Government are stated as follows, “Make all laws necessary and proper to carry out the foregoing powers.”
Then, we have The Reserved Powers. The Reserved Powers are all The powers granted to The State Governments. These are the Power to: Conduct Elections; Establish Local Governments; Regulate Intra-State Commerce; Protect Public Health & Safety; & All other powers not delegated to the National Government , nor denied to the States, are reserved for The States.
What The Federal Government seems to have also forgotten is that their 18 powers are also Enumerated Powers. That means their powers are specifically listed among those 18. If its not in that list than its not one of their powers.
The way the Federal Government tries to get in all the States business is by using the power to regulate Interstate Commerce. They argue that almost everything in every way crosses State lines and therefore they have the power to regulate it. They have abused this power successfully for almost the past 100 years- since Woodrow Wilson was President.
The original intent of the Founding Fathers was to have the majority of government involvement in our lives come from the local level and close to home. Their ideology was strong local & State governments with a not-as-strong Central government. they did not want someone far away dictating laws to citizens in places where those laws didn’t affect them or represent their interests.
There is now a growing movement to get back to before Washington D.C dominated everything and put more power back in the hands of the States. After all, what’s the point of having States if all of them were the same?
Are Americans Today To Dependent On The Government To Save Them? (Part 1)
What would happen if you called 911 and either they told you they couldn’t respond to your call or no one was there? Many Americans have never even thought about this situation happening to them. Our generation has grown up with 911 always just being there. But this is just one example of how are generation, previous generations from the 1960′s on, and future generations have become dependent on the government to take care of them in some way, solve their problems, or even save us.
But with State and Local municipalities having to deal with massive deficits, were seeing more police officer lay-off’s in cities nationwide. Oakland is just one of the most recent examples in which after laying off 80 police officers, the city’s new policy is that the police will not respond to 911 calls unless they are violent crimes. Crimes like burglary, extortion, and 42 others are encouraged to have Oakland City residents file a report over the Internet. (See both links listed below)
http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2010/07/13/oakland-fires-80-police-officers-lists-crimes-longer-respond/
More evidence of just how dependent on the government modern generations of Americans have become can be seen from events that took place during Hurricane Katrina. Photos and news clips where people and families were seen stranded on their rooftops waiting with signs that said, “Save Us”. But the government was so overwhelmed during Hurricane Katrina and immediately after, that many of these people had to wait days before The Coast Guard helicopters could get to them. For all the people in The Superdome- it was five days before they received fresh water. The question I have is, why are these people waiting for the government to get them fresh water and save them in the first place? Instead of taking matters into their own hands and getting the important stuff- like saving their own lives- themselves.
Had Hurricane Katrina happened to any of the World War II generations and before, you would not have seen one person waiting on their rooftops with any signs saying “Save Us.” People did not depend on the government as much back then. People from the World War II generation and earlier would have ripped apart their rooftops for the wood, taken the used nails that hold the boards together and re-nailed all the wood into a home-made raft. If they couldn’t find any hammers to use, they would have used a broken tree branch as a makeshift hammer. The point is, they would have found any way imaginable to save themselves and they could do it in almost any situation. This is the type of ideology that many Americans are lacking today and this is what needs to be changed. Because think about it, in any natural disaster scenario the Police and Firefighters will be overwhelmed. Add police officers and firefighters being laid-off due municipality budget cuts in many areas- means that there are less police and firefighters to help people in any emergency situation. What happens to Americans if there’s a Federal Government shutdown and people do not get their Social-Security checks? How do many people that are dependent on their Social-Security checks, pay their bills that month? What happens to many Americans when the power goes out and the water gets shut off? What if there is no running water for other reasons? What would Americans do if we ever got invaded?
What do you do when you call 911 and no one answers?
It Seems Like The Unions In Wisconsin Have Gotten Themselves Into A No-Win Situation.
“What part of no more money, no more taxes to be levied, do State and Municipal employees not understand? I will gladly contribute the same money the government does for it’s workers if I too get a guaranteed pension and healthcare, regardless of economic conditions.”
But then again, why did jobs in the public sector ever even become more enticing then jobs in private sector? After all it is the private sector that pays for the public sector. Without the tax revenues from private industry, public jobs couldn’t exist. Based on that, why, for any reason whatsoever, are public jobs seeming like better options than many of the same jobs in the private sector?
We all know the real reason why many public jobs have higher pay, better benefits, and better pensions than their private counterparts… It is all due to public sector unions and their collective bargaining practices over the years. Something about collective bargaining practices on behalf of public sector unions really just doesn’t seem fair. Take education for an example; The Teachers Union has gotten all kinds of nice benefits, pension plans, and in many cases- great salaries for themselves. This includes teachers that don’t do a good job either before or after they’ve reached tenure. But if it is after they’ve reached tenure, they know they can not get fired and therefore, in many cases, the education quality they put out is low. Scenarios like this might account for why we keep spending more money on education, but the student testing scores around the country continue to drop.
Another problem with the public sector collective bargaining practices by the unions is that there is no other competition. So in affect they’ll almost always get what they want. If private school teachers go on strike we can pull our kids out of that school and put them in another. If the education standard at a private school is low, we can pull our kids out and put them in another.
The unions in Wisconsin, Indiana, and Ohio need to understand the States don’t have any money in their budgets to bargain with and if they raise taxes people will leave the States and they’ll be even less revenue coming in. If the unions don’t come to the table in Wisconsin, layoffs numbering in the 5000′s begin early next week. Which means more people out of work, higher unemployment, and less revenue generated for the State. For the Unions, it actually seems like this time, after all the perks they’ve gotten for themselves over the years, have finally gotten themselves into a no-win situation. What they have to decide is how to cede some of their power, get back in line with the private sector, and not lose all their support while they’re at it. Otherwise the end-times for the unions is near.
